Nihil Suthy |
8th grade, 13 years.
About me: I am an eighth grader at Boulan Park Middle School. I like genetic engineering, business, and programming. Why Robotics? I chose to do robotics this year so that I could use Java in real life. I like programming code and seeing if the code I have written works. Robotics is a good way of using my Java skills to code. What have you learned? In robotics, I learned more than just coding. |
Vishesh Verma |
8th, 13 years
About me: I am Vishesh Verma. I go to Boulan Park Middle School. I love to read non-fiction books. I am interested in business and Quantum Physics. Why robotics? I made the decision to do Robotics because it teaches us about STEM applications. What have you learned? I have learnt how to build a metallic robot and how all the parts work together to get the robot to move and do other functions. I also learned FTC Block Programming and how to move a robot via the gamepad. Hobbies: Programming, playing tennis, watching movies • |
Ruthesh Thavamani
8th grade, 13 years
About me: Occupation: 8th grader at Boulan Park Middle School Location: Troy, MI, USA, North America, Earth, Milky Way Galaxy, Universe, Multiverse?! Why Robotics? I chose to be a coder within our team, because I like writing out the logic for the code and transforming that into actual code. It’s cool seeing how our robot does the stuff that we tell it to do -- in a completely different language. What have you learned? I learned a lot of Java, which means that I will have a head start on many people my age. •I learned time management, since 10 weeks is very little time to completely build a robot. •Teamwork is also a big part of FTC, since we CANNOT waste time. Hobbies: Playing tennis •Reading fictional books •I like implementing code in the real world |
Rishabh Dubey
8th grade, 13 years
About me: Hi, I’m Rishabh Dubey. I’m a 8th grader at Boulan Park Middle School where I play the violin. I want to be a programmer and an engineer. Why Robotics? I am interested in robots, since robots are the technology of tomorrow. I also want to know about programming. What have you learned? I have learned about teamwork, cooperation, and the different types parts for a robot to work. Hobbies: My favorite things to do is to build LEGOs and play different sports such as basketball, soccer, and football. |
Aayush Sharma |
8th grade, 13 years
About me: I am Aayush Sharma. I am in 8th grade at Boulan Park Middle School. I love technology, sports, and I am interested in business and aviation. Why robotics? I am interested in robots. They are getting more popular, and doing many more things. I like to code, so I decided to do FTC. What have you learned? I am learned how to make a robot using metal pieces. I did FLL, so I kind of know the basics. I also learned to code using blocks and an intro to Java. I have also learnt the parts of a robot. •Hobbies: Playing sports •Build stuff •Playing around with technology •Aviation |
Atharva Geete
8th grade, 13 years
About me: I am Atharva Geete and I am in 8th grade. Some good qualities about me are that I am smart, creative and I am a good listener and learner. Why robotics? I choose to be in FTC because I am interested in building and coding. What have you learned? I learned a lot from this. The first thing is I learned is how to program this new robot. Last year I did FLL with a different robot. Another thing we learned was how to build the robot. It is very different from last year’s robot. This we built it using nuts, screws and metal rods. It is a good experience. Hobbies: Some of my hobbies are swimming, soccer, table tennis, and building models. • |
Anya Singh
7th grade, 12 year
About me: I’m in 7th grade at Boulan Park Middle School. I enjoy reading and hanging out with my friends, I’m also interested in the medical field and want to become a dermatologist. Why Robotics? I chose robotics because last year my brother also did robotics and it seemed really fun to me. I also wanted to see how robots can function and learn more about mechanisms. What have you learned? I have learned a lot of things including terms like torque, gear ratio and many other things. Since this is my first year doing robotics, I have some other things like pairing phones, slider mechanisms, and setting up a expansion hub. Hobbies: Dancing, violin, piano, and knitting. |
Nish Palepu
7th grade, 12 years
About me: I am 12 years old and I love to work with a team to complete projects and other events. I am very athletic and involve in sports such as Swimming and Tennis. I also love to do math because of the calculations that are involved. Why robotics? I chose to do robotics because I love to build and drive robots. I have had an interest in robotics since I was young and had always wanted to apply my skills in a robot that I create with my friends. I also love driving robots. Doing things like lifting the arm of a robot with a joystick is just really fun in my opinion. What have you learned? I have learnt many things in this robotics season. I have learned how to use touch sensors in a way I have never thought of before. I have also learned how to make a linear slide pulley and attach it to a servo motor using tape. Hobbies: Some of my hobbies include reading books, playing chess, playing tennis and swimming. |
Arya Prasad
8th Grade: 13 years old
About Me: I am a student that goes to Boulan Park Middle School with very good leadership skills and I also love working with teams. I play a lot of sports for example I have been playing tennis for 8 years of my life and i also play basketball. I also would like to pursue a career in health care. Why Robotics?: I started robotics 2 years ago, when my friends asked me to join their team and they put me to building and I turned out very good at it. I started this robotics because of a request and have continued it since then What have I learned?: I have learned a lot from the 2 years of doing this for example, i learned a lot about building and how to work with mechanical parts. I also learned a lot more about driving and controlling the robot. |
Aryan Singh
My name is Aryan Singh and I'm 13 years old. Currently I have been doing robotics since last year. My interests are piano, math, and science. I'm a hard worker and a team player. During this robotic season i learned a lot more and improved on myself from last year. I'm beginning to understand the code and building side of robotics much more. For me, robotics is a fun way for me to improve on my team working skills and communication skills.

Aahil Abdul Nazeer
I am interested in cars, computers, and music.
I am very interested in building and coding mechanisms, and I joined an FTC team to learn much more, along with my teammates. I have learned about the basic functions of simple mechanisms - gear ratios, supports and beams, and so on. I have also learned more about coding for our robot. |
Vijay Ravi
Kush Parikh
Akshitha Sahu
I enjoy drawing, dancing, and astronomy
I chose to do robotics because I ’ve done a lot of programming and coding but not much on the mechanical side of things. I’ve learned so much. Honestly, when I started robotics, I didn’t know how to use but a nut and screw. I learned a lot of that when we were assembling the robot. |
